This was a productive week for the campaign!
Every morning we have been going to different locations throughout the district meeting with voters and discussing the issues of the day over coffee. It has been a productive time of sharing views and listening to the concerns of fellow Texans. Everyone’s the same. We’ve all had it with career politicians and the mess the country is in.
Monday morning we were privileged to join Pastor Greg Young on the radio in Kerrville. We discussed the issues of the day, fighting for conservative values, and what we’ve learned from three years on the campaign trail.
Tuesday night was a candidates’ forum in Comal County. The room was packed with Republicans from all over getting informed on their future representatives. Thanks to the Republican Women of Comal and the RCCC for sponsoring the event!
Wednesday morning we attended a meet and greet at the Boerne Grill put on by a supporter for conservative candidates.
Thursday was filled with driving around the district on various errands, and Friday was the same! Saturday we held an open meet and greet in Kerrville. Matt had a chance to answer constituents’ questions for about an hour and a half!
All the in-between times we’ve been busy picking up more signs, putting ads on the radio, meeting with donors and supporters, drinking coffee, putting out fires, putting up signs, drinking more coffee, making phone calls, strategizing, and enjoying the beautiful Texas hill country! Hopefully we met you along the way!
The last day to register to vote is February 1st. Let’s get out the vote!Read Previous Post Read Next Post
