The Republican Party needs to get back to being the party of Freedom, Opportunity and Growth, through a lot smaller government. Our job is to expose what Lamar Smith has been doing for the last 26 years-like voting for debt ceiling increases time and co-sponsoring the Veterans Disarmament Act. It is a fight, and we are very grateful for those who have joined the battle. As we have pointed out before, the founding fathers planted a Garden of Liberty and we cannot just harvest it for a few hundred years. We have to till it. We have to work it-in this case by writing checks, making phone calls, and knocking doors.
I am not a wealthy man and I am giving until it hurts, and not just of my time but of my money as well. I know that you are hit on constantly by campaigns, but my proposal to you is that you will get the best bang for your donated buck with us as we are winning hearts and minds everyday. #2. Supplies for block walkers: $1,000 per month. Door-to-door campaigning is the best way to reach voters, and the heart of any grassroots campaign. We’re outfitting our campaign volunteers with T-shirts, water, and campaign materials.
#3. Direct Mail: $1,500 to $10,000. Direct mail is crucial to reaching primary voters. Our campaign is going to use mail to highlight our conservative message and highlight our opponent’s shortcomings.
