It’s a day like today, tax day, which reminds us why conservatives across the nation are standing up against wasteful government spending. At least once a year you’re forced to write a check to the government. You’re forced to give them money they will spend irresponsibly.
If they only spent the money we gave them that would be one thing. But the politicians in Washington D.C., Lamar Smith included, have been spending far beyond our country’s means for decades and it has to stop now!
With your help we can stand up against this cycle of taxing, spending, borrowing, and then spending more. It will take strong conservative leadership to stand up against career politicians who prefer business as usual.
